Scar

I have this scar
that still hurts
comical it was
how I fell

in my hoity toity
four inched heels
my sinking foot
twisted and tripped

genuflected on right knee
his firm hand
gripped my arm
left knee spared

it cut and bled
wound he washed
my history tattooed
in two centremetres

I have this scar
that still hurts
March I fell
it's now July
